1. Your diagrams and settings
The DFD Maker editor runs entirely in your web browser. Your diagram, recent settings (such as panel layout and remembered font sizes) and style preferences are saved in your browser's local storage on your device so your work isn't lost when you reload the page. This data is not sent to our servers. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for dfdmaker.com.
When you click Save, Download PNG or SVG, the file is created in your browser and downloaded directly to your device.
2. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record standard server log information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, pages requested and the date and time of the request. These logs are used for security, troubleshooting and understanding overall traffic, and are kept only as long as needed for those purposes.
