1. Using the Service
DFD Maker is a free, browser-based tool for drawing data flow diagrams. You may use it for personal, educational and commercial work. You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to disrupt it, overload it, or access it in ways other than through the website.
2. Your diagrams
You own the diagrams you create. They're stored in your own browser and in files you download, not on our servers. You're responsible for keeping backups: use Save to download a copy of important work, because clearing browser data will remove the auto-saved copy.
3. Our content
The DFD Maker website, editor code, design, logo and written guides are owned by DFD Maker. You may link to our pages and share diagrams you've made, but you may not copy or republish the website or its guides as your own.
4. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. The DFD rule checker is a helpful guide, not a guarantee that a diagram meets any particular syllabus, examiner or project requirement.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DFD Maker isn't liable for any loss of data, grades, profits or other damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
6. Advertising and third parties
The Service may display ads from third parties such as Google AdSense and may link to third-party websites. We're not responsible for third-party content. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies are used.
7. Changes
We may change or discontinue features and update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
